I get it—you're probably still skeptical about
paper furniture. Let's address the elephant in the room:
will it last?
We've been testing a prototype in our office for six months, and here's what we found:
Water Resistance:
We spilled coffee on it (oops), wiped it up with a cloth, and there was no staining or warping. The nano-coating works.
Load-Bearing:
We stacked 15 pounds of office supplies (staplers, notebooks, a printer) on the top shelf, and it stayed steady. The manufacturer says it can hold up to 44 pounds total, which is more than enough for most home storage needs.
Wear and Tear:
The plastic foot covers protect the bottom tubes from scuffing, and the nano-coating resists scratches. After six months of daily use, it still looks brand new—no dents, no tears, no fading.
Of course, it's not indestructible. Don't stand on it, and keep it away from open flames (it's paper, after all). But for everyday use, it's more than durable enough.
