The Rental Apartment Nook
Sarah lives in a small rental apartment in downtown Chicago. Between her sofa and the wall, there's a14-inch wide gap—too narrow for a standard side table, but too wide to leave empty. She orders a custom modular paper cube organizer: two cubes tall,14 inches wide, and12 inches deep. She adds a drawer to the bottom cube for her remote controls and keys, and the top cube holds her favorite books and a small potted plant. When she moves out next year, she can take it apart and bring it with her. "I love that it's custom-sized," Sarah says. "It fits perfectly in that gap, and it's so easy to move."
The Tiny Bedroom Corner
Mike's bedroom is so small that his bed is pushed up against the wall, leaving a10-inch wide space next to it. He needs a place to put his phone and glasses at night. He gets a custom narrow side table (a single cube of 10 inches wide,12 inches deep, and20 inches tall) as a nightstand. He adds a door to the cube to hide his essentials, and the top holds his phone and a lamp. "This nightstand is a lifesaver," Mike says. "It fits exactly where I need it, and it's so lightweight I can move it to clean behind my bed."
The Kids' Playroom Mess
Lisa's kids have tons of toys, but her playroom has an odd-shaped corner that's2 feet wide and4 feet tall. She orders a4-cube organizer: two rows of two, with custom colors (blue and pink) to match the playroom decor. She adds a cat house insert to one cube for her kids' stuffed animals, and the other cubes hold dolls, cars, and art supplies. The kids love their organizer—they use the cat house cube as a playhouse and the others to keep their toys tidy. "It's so easy to clean," Lisa says. "I just wipe it down with a damp cloth, and it looks good as new."
The Home Office Gap
Lisa works from home in a small office. Between her desk and the wall, there's a16-inch wide gap that was useless until she got the custom modular paper cube organizer. She orders a3-cube tall organizer:16 inches wide,12 inches deep. She adds a drawer to the bottom cube for her files, the middle cube holds her small printer, and the top cube has a potted plant. "This organizer saved my office," Lisa says. "It holds everything I need, and it's so lightweight I can move it to access the socket behind my desk."
The Kitchen Corner
Mark has a small kitchen with an odd-shaped corner that's20 inches wide and40 inches tall. He needs a place to store his spices and cooking utensils. He orders a5-cube organizer:5 cubes tall,20 inches wide, and12 inches deep. He adds doors to the bottom two cubes for his spices, and the top three cubes hold his utensils and small appliances. "This organizer fits perfectly in my kitchen corner," Mark says. "It's sturdy enough to hold my toaster, and it's so easy to assemble."
